Dr. Amanda Weiss grew up in a home in Delaware County that was filled with pets and always dreamed of going to the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. After graduating with a BS in Biology from Elizabethtown College in 2001, that dream became a reality. She earned her Veterinary Medical Degree in 2005 and spent a year at the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine doing a rotating internship.
Dr. Weiss lives in Swarthmore with her husband and two young children. They share their home with an American Foxhound named Mavis and a naughty cat named Harvey. She is very passionate about the human-animal bond and the importance of pets as companions in our lives. She is excited to be working with a team that shares this passion.
