Owner and hospital director of Ardmore Animal Hospital, Dr. James Bianco is a Pennsylvania native and has cared for pets at the Ardmore Animal Hospital since 1989. Dr. Bianco attended West Chester University and received his Bachelor's Degree in Secondary School Sciences in 1976 and a Master's Degree in Biology from Villanova University. He continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris degree in 1987.
Dr. Bianco has numerous priofessional interests and maintains memebrship in a wide range of professional and local organizations. He is VetStem certified and is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. A general veterinary practitioner, he is particularly passionate about veterinary surgery and animal nutrition.
At home, Dr. Bianco enjoys the companionship of a cat, Enzo, and a dog, Georgie. His hobbies include fly fishing, ornithology and running.
In 2000, Dr. Bianco was named one of the nation's best veterinarians by the ASPCA.
