Dr. Katherine Trow
A native of Pennsylvania, Dr.
Katherine Trow attended Franklin
and Marshall College
where she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1987. She continued
her education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine
and was awarded her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris degree in 1994. While in
veterinary school, she received the American Association of Feline
Practitioners' "Exceptional Student of Feline Medicine" award. Dr.
Trow also is VetStem certified.
A general veterinary practitioner at Ardmore Animal Hospital
since 2001, Dr. Trow's professional interests include internal medicine,
geriatric medicine and surgery. Outside of work, she is involved in the local
community and often speaks at schools and community organization meetings about
veterinary medicine.
Away from the hospital, Dr. Trow enjoys spending time with her children,
going on bike rides and hiking trips and cooking and knitting. At home, she
enjoys the companionship of four cats, Ellie, Phoebe, TC and Zip, two
guinea pigs, Daisy and Lily and her chocolate Lab Echo.
