
Dr. James Peters
Dr. James C. Peters is a general practitioner and the medical director at Ardmore Animal Hospital.
A native of the area, Dr. Peters began practicing medicine at Ardmore Animal Hospital
in 1997. He attended the University
of Pennsylvania and received his
Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1977 and his Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris
degree in 1983. Dr. Peters' professional interests include internal medicine,
dermatology and soft tissue surgery. He has also completed continuing education
courses in ultrasound and laser surgery and is VetStem certified.
Dr. Peters and his family share their home with a number of animals,
including two dogs, Zoey and Sydney, two cats, Cheetah and Buddy, a parrot,
parakeets, box turtles and red-eared sliders. When he's not spending time with
his wife and children or caring for pets at the hospital, he enjoys
photography, art, gardening and fishing.
